Materials Management Associate

Compensation: Target pay range is $20-$26/hourly

San Diego, CA, 92121- ONSITE


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Physically receives daily shipments
  • Distributes packages throughout facility.
  • Transport materials between buildings.
  • Competently handle and receive hazardous materials.
  • Process required paperwork to initiate inspection process.
  • Performs labeling of all incoming material.
  • Maintain inventory spreadsheet. Entering daily consumed materials.
  • Housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized working environment.
  • Training on area procedures and specific responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date material receiving and issuing file and records.
  • Ensure products comply with material spec sheets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Day to day:

  • Drive between two locations
  • Company vehicle; hauling stuff in minivan - must have valid license
  • Receiving incoming materials, UPS, FedEx, Freight
  • Answering the doors; RTTC not a loading dock
  • Processing in Data Ninja, NetSuite
  • GMP handling of materials, documented, storage conditions; separated; segregated materials
  • General cleanliness of work areas
  • Shipping, packaging,
  • FedEx software
  • Internal deliveries…most done at NTP distributing material to labs/teams
  • General help around the lab


Must Haves:

  • HS diploma
  • 1–2 years’ experience in shipping, warehouse, inventory control, or receiving environment
  • must have valid license
  • GMP understanding in biotech; documentation
  • If no GMP, must be detail oriented and able to learn quickly
  • Above and beyond attitude, team orientation
