Director, Navy Information Warfare Strategy

Summary:

As the Director for Navy Information Warfare (IW) Strategy, you will play an important role in aligning ManTech efforts to provide critical IW solutions in support of the Navy Mission. You will engage directly with Navy leaders and customers driving our IW strategic effort and key initiatives to make maximum impact through synchronizing Navy and ManTech vision and strategy. You will work across delivery, business development, and solutions development opportunities to ensure we are aligned and supporting items like Project 33 and Project Overmatch. Working with our Technical leadership will ensure we have alignment within the Navy IW and Systems commands to drive capability development and deliver technical overmatch. Working closely with our growth teams, delivery, and technical teams, you will make the difference in delivering and winning in the Navy IW space.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Lead development and execution of the Navy IW strategy for the Navy Segment.
  2. Work directly with ManTech Navy Segment leaders in support of strategy execution.
  3. Engage directly with Navy leaders to identify their most significant IW challenges and align ManTech efforts to solve them.
  4. Develop Navy IW Go-to-Market plans.
  5. Participate in proposal reviews, white papers, and solution development.
  6. Represent the organization at industry conferences, engagements, and round tables.
  7. Engage with customers for existing work in Classified and Unclassified service delivery.
  8. Align Navy initiatives and opportunities with ManTech business goals.
  9. Track and develop new initiatives supporting Navy IW future requirements.
  10. Participate in technical solutioning efforts to ensure IW strategic alignment and strengthen non-kinetic solutions development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  2. 20+ years of multi-disciplined Naval experience on Active Duty.
  3. Active Duty service as a Naval IW officer within the past 2 years.
  4. Active Duty leadership within NCDOC and USFCC/10th Fleet within the past 3 years.
  5. Recognized leader in the Navy IW and NAVWAR communities.
  6. Demonstrated leadership as an Active Duty officer within the Joint J6 community.
  7. Deep understanding of and experience with JADC2, Project Overmatch, and Naval Combat systems; including technical expertise on communications, cybersecurity, and Fleet needs.
  8. Adept at building strong relationships and collaborating effectively with customers and ManTech stakeholders at all levels.
  9. Experienced public speaker with a track record of DoD related panel participation.
  10. Experience developing strategic plans and executing against those plans.
  11. Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a portfolio of published articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Active CISSP and PMP.
  2. Master’s degree in a technical field.

Clearance Requirements:

Must be a US citizen and have a current and active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
