Job Description:

In this role, you will also manage and mentor our Recruiting Coordinator team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver a seamless candidate experience and provide operational support across all recruiting efforts. This is a high-impact role that will empower Patreon's Talent Acquisition team to deliver a world-class recruiting experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and optimize recruiting processes and workflows to ensure efficiency, scalability, and a seamless candidate experience.
  • Oversee the management and administration of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems (Ashby), and other technology to drive data accuracy and operational excellence.
  • Develop recruiting metrics and analytics to provide actionable insights, supporting strategic planning and resource allocation across the recruiting team.
  • Manage and coach the Recruiting Coordinator team, providing mentorship, setting clear goals, and supporting their development to enhance overall recruiting operations.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership to build strategic recruiting plans that support Patreon's long-term growth objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Business Operations, to align recruiting strategies with broader company goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance candidate engagement, DEI initiatives, and team alignment through recruiting best practices and innovative solutions.
About You:
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting operations, talent acquisition strategy, or a related field, with a focus on process optimization and recruiting analytics.
  • Owner: Care about the large and small details of the recruiting experience, with a proven track record in managing and optimizing ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., Ashby, Juicebox, etc.).
  • Storyteller: Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive insights and focusing on the ‘so what’, challenging stakeholders to take impactful action.
  • Growth Mindset: You embrace challenges, welcome feedback, and believe you and others can always grow.
  • Asynchronous Communicator: You're able to distill complexity into clear and concise messaging for stakeholders, with excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Bias to action: Speed matters. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to think strategically and pragmatically, while taking rapid and decisive steps forward.
  • Partner: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a start-up and high-growth tech or creative-focused organization.
  • Familiarity with the creator economy and passion for Patreon's mission.
  • Advanced knowledge of recruiting metrics, reporting tools, and data visualization.
  • Experience implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives within recruiting operations.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team, ideally within recruiting operations or coordination.
