JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Coordinator will play a critical role in the continued growth and success of Serenity Kids. This person will have an analytical mindset to manage, organize and communicate all sales team support activities to drive retail channel business for Serenity Kids. This individual will work collaboratively with the Sales Team and cross functional teams to optimize category/brand/retail growth to deliver our key business objectives. 


The ideal candidate is detail and technically oriented, and a collaborative team player. They possess strong critical thinking, are able to multitask, analytical, and organizational abilities and are capable of overseeing all aspects of the retail sales support process.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in all daily sales seam operations, supporting all new and existing customer success, and acting as a hub for shared team information
  • Create and maintain selling story slides for Serenity Kids brand, new items, and existing items
  • Handle general administrative tasks to support the sales team’s daily operations
  • Provide timely and accurate files, information and actions to support the Sales Team
  • Becoming an expert generating reports from UNFI, KeHE and retailer portals
  • Accurately complete new item, new distributor and new online platform set up files
  • Own the entire samples request process
  • Create sell sheets from Satellite as needed
  • Complete turnover forms for UNFI and KeHE
  • Manage and oversee all external data pools; IX-ONE, Syndigo, BrandBank, ECRS, Ecoportal and others
  • Oversee Repositrak, FoodLogQ compliance portals to communicate needed actions
  • Calculate and communicate quarterly broker commissions
  • Send quarterly MAP Policy updates to online platforms
  • Organize and support the sales team with distributor trade shows
  • Work with Sales Team leadership to accomplish special projects to drive sales


JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 2+ years of sales support experience in the CPG industry
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and working in retailer/distributor/retail support portals
  • Direct calling and selling experience with major national food retailers preferred
  • Direct broker or UNFI/KeHE distributor management preferred
  • Enthusiastic and comfortable working in an early-stage company. Ability to think quickly in a growing and changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset
  • Outstanding organization and communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously while managing competing priorities

The compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $70k, based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge and skills. This role also includes a bonus potential and equity.
