Bilingual Contact Center Agent Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist account owners or authorized individuals by providing effective resolutions to accounts, including documenting all customer interactions, conversations, and payment arrangements.
  • Manage assigned tasks in compliance with state and federal laws governing debt collection.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Evaluate customer conversations and documents to determine the appropriate course of action, including account status updates, call routing, notations, and follow-ups.
  • Negotiate and process payments using effective negotiation strategies.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of account information by updating and documenting appropriate systems.
  • Meet and maintain weekly and monthly performance goals set by the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Bilingual Contact Center Agent Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual fluency (Spanish) required.
  • Customer service experience required; experience in collections or call centers preferred.
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Effective negotiation skills and ability to manage payment processing.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations and determine the best solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with call center and collections software is a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite from Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
