Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Overview:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will have strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to lead digital media initiatives for North America. This role involves optimizing talent attraction efforts across digital platforms, boosting visibility in key markets, and collaborating closely with Talent Acquisition teams to position Evolution as the employer of choice. This role will work with other departments and internal stakeholders, creating and distributing content that embodies Evolution's culture, values and achievements, aiming to support ambitious recruitment objectives. The ideal candidate will be a target-driven individual with a strategic outlook and the proficiency to execute impactful campaigns across diverse platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
Work with Talent Acquisition to develop the digital marketing plans aimed at driving conversion in the form of applicants from the identified target groups and markets; plan to specify key messages/content needs, channel mix and spend for defined KPIs.
Lead the implementation and optimization of the agreed web, SEM, display advertising efforts supporting the recruitment and Evolution’s position as an attractive and relevant employer with the identified target groups. Collaborate with the teams on optimizing local social media pages and the user journey/experience.
Content idea generation and curation for digital recruitment campaigns in collaboration with the inhouse Evolution creative team and external agencies as relevant.
Analyze and report performance of digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and marketing KPIs).
Identify trends, insights as well as critical conversions and drop off points for optimization of user funnels as to maximize spend and performance.
Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range opportunities and issues as well as talent behavior patterns in digital media.
Market intelligence - be the expert on the other regional competitors - how they position their campaigns, attract large numbers of staff, and how they execute with speed
Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment with ambitious targets
Degree in marketing/branding/communications preferred
Demonstrable experience from managing Facebook Business Manager, TikTok Business Manager, Snapchat campaigns, Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEM, marketing databases, email, and display advertising campaigns.
Knowledge of all social media platforms, including Instagram, X, and LinkedIn
Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines in North America
Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments
- Good analytical capability; experience from evaluating end-to-end user experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Result oriented with proven experience from identifying target audiences for digital media and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and drive conversion.
- Ability to work within assigned budgets.
- Self-motivated team player.
