Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement acquisition strategies that support the company’s overall business goals and growth plans within the light industrial sector.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets, including emerging opportunities and competitive threats in the light industrial space.
  • Deal Sourcing: Build and maintain a pipeline of acquisition opportunities by cultivating relationships with industry contacts, investment bankers, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Due Diligence: Lead the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to assess financial, operational, legal, and market risks.
  • Financial Modeling: Oversee the creation and evaluation of financial models to assess the viability and profitability of potential acquisitions, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and the Board of Directors on acquisition activities, deal progress, and strategic recommendations.
  • Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of acquisition professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all acquisition activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the acquisition process.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, with at least 5 years in the light industrial sector. Proven track record of successful acquisitions and integrations.
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of the light industrial market, including industry trends, key players, and competitive dynamics.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal structuring skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
