We are seeking a Landscape Project Director to coordinate and manage strategies on multiple projects. The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Following Skills

  3. Experience from concept through construction administration.
  4. Ability to skillfully work alongside internal and external collaborators.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Promote and strive to apply our office mission and values of curiosity, inclusion, collaboration, making and perspective through a collaborative design outlook on all assigned project tasks.
  7. Successfully meets project performance, concepts and schedule goals set forth by the Creative and Studio Directors.
  8. Holistic project experience (includes design and project management): minimum of 1-2 landmark/iconic project(s) in Singapore where the candidate was involved from concept to completion. This landmark/iconic project would ideally be a public park and/or biophilic skyrise-landscape-with-architecture.
  9. Skill diversity across various landscape scales and typologies, such as residential gardens to neighborhood parks to town landscape planning.
  10. Experience with local and regional projects.
  11. Building and maintaining project plans that work within budget. Collaborating with Studio Directors to coordinate project-level staffing needs.
  12. Assisting studio leadership by managing sub-consultant contracts and scope of work. Identifying additional service opportunities and drafting corresponding proposals for SD/CD review.
  13. Actively mentoring and developing project teams on project delivery with an emphasis on sharing technical knowledge, workflow and design tool strategies, code compliance, construction management, project management and design feasibility.
  14. Monitoring QA/QC on project deliverables ensuring strong and technically accurate work.
  15. A Project Director may perform the role of Project Designer on smaller projects as necessary.
  16. Participating in the development and improvement of office standards, professional development resources and curriculums within the office to ensure a uniformly high quality of design delivery across the office.
  17. Fostering and encouraging a positive work environment amongst peers and teams; engaging in the office culture.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 6-9+ years of professional experience.
  2. Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognized university. Candidates with an Architecture Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree with experience in landscape will be considered.
  3. Experience with REVIT, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Bluebeam.
  4. Accredited Landscape Architect preferred.
  5. Knowledge of plants in tropical climate.
  6. Language proficiency in at least 1 language (other than English) used in South-east Asia and Asia Pacific.
