Overview:
Our client is seeking a contractor to join their team, responsible for modernizing legacy applications and supporting developers throughout the process. Open to U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solution architectures that meet both business and technical requirements.
- Create technology roadmaps to transition older applications to newer platforms.
- Provide guidance and support for .NET development to enhance software solutions.
- Manage and optimize SQL Server development tasks to improve data management and storage.
- Implement security best practices, including OWASP standards, and oversee security controls and reviews.
- Support the maintenance of security measures, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Oversee code management and deployment processes, ensuring high code quality and integrity.
- Contribute to DevOps efforts, maintaining and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
- Facilitate system integrations with platforms such as Office 365, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and solution summaries.
Skills and Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on solution architecture.
- Solid foundation in software development, databases, and system integration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in .NET, SQL Server, and security protocols.
