Due to an internal promotion, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - Magnificent Mile is seeking a dynamic, creative, and team-focused Director of Food and Beverage to join their team.

A contemporary, vibrant hotel, the newly redesigned DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - Magnificent Mile mesmerizes guests from the moment they enter our lively, open-concept lobby. Venture to our recently redesigned guestrooms or walk a few steps to Michigan Avenue shopping and the sights of Navy Pier. Located two blocks from the famous Magnificent Mile, the hotel puts you in easy reach of Chicago’s best shopping, dining, and entertainment. Less than 45 minutes from Chicago O’Hare and Midway Airports, the DoubleTree Chicago - Magnificent Mile lets you make the most of your time in the city.

What will I be doing?

As Director of Food & Beverage, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

  1. Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  2. Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  4. Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  5. Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
