FIRE SPRINKLER FITTER/FOREMAN

As a result of growth, we are currently seeking a pipe fitter / helper for our Savannah Georgia operations to assist in all field activities of fire sprinkler installation. You will work closely with our Field Superintendent to ensure all company protocols are followed and our customers expectations are exceeded.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Fire Sprinkler experience required
  • Cutting, threading, grooving, and assembling pipe
  • Assist Superintendent and Team Members with tools and system installation
  • Physically help field teams as needed to meet schedules and commitments
  • Learn and grow your skillset everyday
  • Welding experience is a bonus
  • Compensation based on capabilities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with tools
  • Basic math skills and a mechanical aptitude
  • Able to operate lift equipment and work in high places
  • Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week
  • Willing to commute/travel to jobsites as needed
  • Able to produce a valid Driver’s License and have both a clean driving and clean criminal record
  • Self-confidence, self-motivated, self-starter
  • Neat, clean, professional appearance
  • Integrity, honest, and fairness with self and others
  • High level of self-discipline, motivation, and ability to operate in a team environment
  • Must adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Pre employment drug testing

Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Demands

  • Capable of performing physical labor, meeting the demands required for all types of installation
  • Required to drive, hear, see in color, close and far distances, peripheral, depth, and adjust focus. Balance, stand, and walk for extended periods, reach above and below shoulders. Crouch, kneel, lift >50lbs, sit, stoop, twist, work at heights, bend, ascend and descend ladders and stairs, kneel.

Work Environment:

  • Frequent travel is required. Work to be done inside and outside in hot/cold temperatures with frequent loud noises and moving machinery.
  • Employees will occasionally be exposed to electrical hazards, chemicals, uneven and slippery surfaces, dust, fumes and odors, and standing on hard surfaces.
  • Must consistently wear all appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety policies.
