POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining successful operations of 6
to 9 multi-family communities consisting of 800 to 1200 units. The Regional Manager also
maintains the highest standards of operational efficiency and customer service. Travels to and
from assigned properties each week. Responsible for training and development of property
personnel. Must be a polished management professional who possesses superior
relationship-building & negotiation skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day operational & financial oversight of the portfolio
- Hold Property Managers and Site Staff accountable for all performance standards, including: maximizing revenues, minimizing expenses, and adhering to Budgeted Net Operating Income Goals
- Review Payments to Vendors to insure that all expenses incurred are just and accurate
- Hire, Coach and Train all property office and maintenance staff
- Be available at all times for property emergencies
- Cover operations if Property staff is absent
- Review weekly reports and take actions
- Plan, Approve, Oversee, and Inspect all capital expenditures at properties
- Perform monthly Site Inspections to ensure operational effectiveness
- Serve as the key intermediary between the Asset Manager, Director of Maintenance, and Property Managers, sharing responsibility for operational performance
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as with company policies, procedures, and practices
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7 years experience in Multi-Family Housing
- Demonstrated ability with MS Office Suite, Google Apps and property management software. Entrata experience a plus.
- Proven leadership demonstrated in a professional setting to drive results.
- Ability to prioritize daily. monthly, and quarterly requirements.
- Experience working independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to problem solve inside and outside of “the box”.
- A college degree is preferred and professional designations are a huge plus.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum of 7 years experience in Multi-Family Housing as a Regional Property Manager.
