Warehouse Maintenance Technician-

The General Maintenance Repair Worker performs various maintenance service and repairs in several skills areas, which include, plumbing, carpentry, machine servicing, electrical repairs, installations, or vehicle servicing.
Scheduled Days: Monday through Friday Hours: 6am to 2:30pm
Hourly Rate Range: $ 24/Hr
Responsibilities: (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned)
1. Performs all work within established safety standards; is responsible for managing own work and work around others with utmost adherence to good safety practices avoiding injury, damage, or cost to the company.
2. May be required to provide estimates of time and material cost on various projects and activities.
3. Requisitions supplies and equipment with appropriate approvals.
4. Works with vendors to provide needed services, with appropriate approvals and within established time and budget parameters.
Education & Experience:
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
· 2+ years of experience, preferably in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Warehouse.
· Experience and knowledge of plumbing, welding ,480 3 phase electrical, general building repair, conveyors, and reading of basic schematics is preferred.
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Licenses & Certifications:
· Fork Lift certification preferred.
Physical Requirements :
· Balancing, Climbing, Crouching, Hearing, Kneeling, Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Repetitive Motion, Seeing, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, Talking, Typing, Visual Acuity, Walking
· Normal physical mobility, which includes movement from place-to-place on the job taking distances and speed into account. Normal physical agility, which includes the ability to maneuver body while in place. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend, reach, twist, and lift. Normal physical strength to handle and/or move objects up to 75 pounds, taking frequency into consideration. Normal dexterity of hands and fingers. Normal coordination, including eye-hand and hand-foot. Normal endurance to complete the essential functions of the position.
Work Environment:
· The work is typically active and physical in nature and requires normal accessibility to all work sites required of the position. The position may require extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. The position is typically working in areas where air conditioning is unavailable and may be exposed to chemicals that are routinely present in the Company’s warehouse facilities.
