Position Description:?

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Proposal/Capture Resource. Zen is your place to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects and grow a rewarding career. As a Proposal/Capture Resource you will be you will be responsible to help research, gather, and validate information for pursuits using federal procurement websites and database (e.g., SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS). Also, you will participate in all aspects of proposal preparation, including development and collection of materials such as past performance and resumes. We are actively seeking a junior to mid-level candidate to also collaborate with internal departments and partners.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:?

· Provide administrative support to the business development team

· Manage Proposal Library, pipeline data, proposal deadlines, submissions, and win/loss records

· Organize all files and documents related to pursuits, including RFQs, Q&A, proposal attachments, submission files, and more to ensure accurate and complete archives.

· Help research, gather, and validate information for pursuits using federal procurement websites and database (e.g., SAM.gov, GovWin, FPDS)

· Coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with internal departments (Leadership, HR, Technical SMEs, etc.), consultants, and teaming partners

· Participate in all aspects of proposal preparation, including development and collection of materials such as past performance and resumes.

· Prepare and communicate proposal schedules, requirements checklists, and volume outlines

· Own compliance review process across proposal submissions

· Ensure final formatting and layout of proposals; prepare final content as editor to ensure clarity, consistent voice, inclusion of win themes, and compliance

· Participate in calls on win strategy, teaming, and solution development, as needed


You’ll work with:

· Handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· All Microsoft Office products with strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

· Writing, reviewing and editing proposal content

· Keeping items organized

· Working both independently and as part of a team


Requirements:

· Possess a working knowledge of federal procurement and contracting

· 2+ years supporting business development, capture, proposal and/or growth activities for a federal contractor

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent proofreading abilities.

· Ability to synthesize information and present findings clearly in both writing and orally.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, business or related field preferred
