This person reports directly to the Operations Manager. The Service Center Manager is responsible for all functions and personnel in the Service Center Department.
REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS
- Education: Associates Degree in Business or 10 years related management experience.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in production management, 5+ years Management/Coaching experience, and Product Lifecycle Management experience.
- Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Average to advanced knowledge of basic tools, computer knowledge with average to advanced skills using Microsoft Office Products and ERP programs.

- Physical Requirements: Standing, sitting, climbing, walking, crouching, stooping, twisting, and bending.
- Working Conditions/Environment: Office conditions and Shop conditions (no central heat or air condition); some outdoor work required; uniforms supplied.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Sales Team to schedule Service Center and Field Service labor, material, and equipment.
- Assist Sales and Engineering Departments to quote production of assemblies, repairs, field service and other service center functions.
- Monitor and oversee the repair evaluation processes.
- Monitor and oversee the repair process.
- Monitor and oversee the Moog actuator exchange process.
- Monitor and oversee the rental process.
- Monitor and oversee the field service process.
- Review and approve all labor adjustments, material usage, and bill of material updates.
- Support field service calls with phone and direct, in field service.
Duties:
- Manage Employee’s schedules and monitor time and attendance for the Service Center Department.
- Coach Employees in the Service Center Department to improved skill and performance levels.
- Monitor and Evaluate Employee Performance.
- Assist in Monitoring Employee Records.
- Development, review, and maintain CFI Business Processes, Procedures, Forms, and guidelines.
- Train Service Center Department Personnel in the Service Center procedures and forms.
- Cross train other departments in Service Center procedures and forms.
- Prepare annual budget for the Service Center Department and monitor for compliance.
- Oversee the hiring Process for the Service Center Department and assist other departments in this area.
- Report Service Center activities, performance and labor ready status at Sales meetings.
- Support Engineering efforts to provide specific performance of CFI systems and projects.
- Provide Procurement with technical support to promote effective inventory, purchasing and estimating decisions.
Additional Duties:
- Coordinate with the QSM Manager on equipment maintenance, repairs, and improvements with internal resources or outside resources.
