Job Description

As team leader, you will be responsible for the work carried out by your team. Duties may include planning workloads and delegating tasks to your colleagues. You may also be required to carry out practical tasks alongside your team, day-to-day. Must have a strong background in construction, with the ability to lead and coordinate a team to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.

Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)

  • Assigning tasks and providing oversight for field labor and subcontractors per superintendent.
  • Acting as a point of contact between Superintendent, Foremen, and Safety Coordinator.
  • Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and organize work schedules, allocate resources, and set project priorities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues related to workmanship or safety.
  • Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment for the team.
  • Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Additionally, fulfills any other duties as required by the role.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing complex teams, tasks, and projects.
  • Must be able to self-check own work and others to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and schedule requirements.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols, project rules, and company policies and procedures.

    Work Environment

  • Required to adhere to large amounts of noise, standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting.
  • Required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level.
Must be able to lift objects up to 50lbs
