Requirements

Director, Construction Special Projects: This is where you come in.

We are seeking a dynamic and purposeful Construction Sales Leader to join our Construction Special Projects (CSP) team. In this role, you will take charge of fostering partnerships with commercial-related businesses (GC’s, Consultants, Owners etc.), expanding our market presence in the Pacific Northwest. Your responsibilities include demonstrating exceptional leadership and mentoring skills to guide other business units in securing and fulfilling contracts. Additionally, you will lead your own team, driving continuous growth within the region.

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Team relationship building and engagement.
  • Creating a player-coach balance. The Director will have individual sales goals for the first year.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market niches to expand MacDonald-Miller presence in the commercial TI market.
  • Enhance and cultivate a robust sales strategy to foster growth in the growth in the commercial TI sector.
  • Oversee and ensure the optimal performance of all sales activities and the organization within the MacDonald-Miller commercial TI and energy retrofit market.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Lead a senior sales and project execution team in securing successful project acquisitions and achieving operational excellence. This involves actively participating in and/or taking a lead role in large project pursuits.
  • Continually analyze the sales process to refine and improve its success and impact on the market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influences, and stakeholders in real estate, consulting, and GC organizations.
  • Collaborate with executive team in aligning sales objectives with the overall business strategy.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, marketing, engineering, or a related field. Industry experience without a degree is acceptable assuming it is greater than 15 years.
  • 7+ years of senior sales experience in the mechanical engineering and construction field
  • 5 + years of team management experience
  • A strong history of accomplishments, leadership, and relationships within the mechanical engineering and construction field; specifically, within the Healthcare market

Benefits

Compensation $160,000 to $190,000 Annually
