We are seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in one of our Ohio offices.   The ideal candidate will need a good technical background, with the ability to multi task, and is excited about geotechnical engineering innovative and sustainable solutions to exceed our client’s needs and expectations.  
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the investigation and design of building foundations, earthen structures, and roadways
  • Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods
  • Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports
  • Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
  • Perform geotechnical laboratory analysis at our on-campus laboratory
  • Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
  • Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
  • Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers
  • Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited Institution, Master's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience
  • EIT is desired, if not obtained, at least on track to obtain
  • CAD experience a plus
  • Strong calculation skills
  • The ability to interpret work plans
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
