CST has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the Miami area to hire an entry-level staff accountant.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in various areas. This candidate must bring analytical and organizational skillsto best support the accounting team.


The position is onsite five days a week and is ideal for anyone coming out of school or with one year of experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Compile and sort invoices and checks
  • Match invoices to work order
  • Support customer billing
  • Enter daily key data of financial transactions in database/ERP
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to company personnel
  • Assist in the preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports
  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
  • Preparing monthly sales commissions


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of accounting support or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks
  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience and or education combination preferred
  • Thorough understanding of AR and AP bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Experience with Sage X3 or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Good computer skills Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing/ warehouse environment a plus
