We're seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our growing team as a Material Procurement Specialist. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our projects run smoothly by efficiently sourcing and acquiring the materials we need.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and source materials required for remodeling projects by examining quotes, contracts, and diagrams.
- Utilize and become expert using multiple vendors ordering platforms.
- Efficiently order materials from vendor, process purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
- Track material deliveries and manage inventory levels.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments (Sales, Production) and external vendors.
- Serve as a knowledge resource for materials, inventory, and ordering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- General knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
