We are currently looking for a couple entry-level Sous Chefs to join an established restaurant group of upscale dining restaurants that is gearing up for expansion. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the culinary arts and eager to learn and grow with our team.
As an entry-level position, we welcome candidates with a strong background in upscale restaurants and a willingness to be trained in becoming a successful Sous Chef. No specific prior experience as a Sous Chef is required but a love for quality ingredients and a desire to work in a scratch kitchen environment is essential. Having overseen a shift, doing some ordering etc would be helpful
In this role, you will assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and maintaining high standards of quality. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our culinary team on menu development, manage inventory, and learn efficient kitchen management practices. This company has a proven training process that you will start on day one. After you complete the program, there is ongoing training to help you succeed within the organization.
The entry-level Junior Sous Chef position offers a competitive base salary of up to $68K, providing ample room for growth and advancement within the various restaurant concepts in and around Southern California.
