The position:
  • Lead the Cash Management processes- You will be assisting with sales tax calculations and payments, leading the payroll process, calculating and collecting fees, reviewing and approving invoices and managing all cash accounts to ensure proper balances and payments are processed.
  • Collaborating with Other Departments- Working closely with colleagues in departments such as finance, operations, and management to support overall organizational goals and objectives.
  • Daily tasks- reconciling accounts, calculating certain accruals and management fees, entering journal entries, reviewing accounts payable, allocating expenses to various properties, and checking cash balances. Special projects as directed.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting required. Ideally, the candidate should either hold a CPA or actively working towards obtaining it. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in an accounting setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and attention to detail.
  • The ability to collect and analyze data to devise alternate solutions is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures is critical. This includes knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis is preferred.
