Puget Sound Orthopaedics is the largest independent bone and joint practice in Pierce County. In addition to three clinic locations in Lakewood, Tacoma and Gig Harbor, we also operate Lakewood Surgery Center, an outpatient ambulatory surgery center, and Puget Sound Imaging, an MRI diagnostic imaging suite. Our team comprises of 13 board-certified orthopedic surgeons, 2 podiatrists, 9 physician assistants, and a 100-member support staff. We work together with the common goal of delivering expert, individualized, and compassionate attention to every patient. The salary range for this position is $19.02 - $30.42

The Patient Access Representative provides an essential role on the team in our call center. The position is responsible for processing patient appointments and supports patient care in the performance of non face-to-face reception and general clerical duties.

Qualifications:

  • Previous orthopedic front office experience a plus
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Adapt well to change
  • Be able to multi-task in a busy environment
  • Maintain professionalism in stressful situations

Education and Experience:

  • One year of previous customer service experience required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of medical terminology or anatomy and physiology course, and course work in a related field preferred

The patient access rep position is full time, Monday thru Friday, 8 am – 5 pm in our Lakewood office.
