We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Brand Growth Lead to join our team at Chick-fil-A. This “hands-on” leadership with growth path opportunity is designed to give you a career in the most highly-esteemed restaurant chain in the nation. This opportunity provides a clear roadmap for your professional growth to get you into a senior leadership role specifically suited to match your strengths. This unique opportunity to grow a food truck business will take you to every city of Hampton Roads, Virginia as well as stadiums, event venues, and more The Chick-fil-A Patrick Henry Mall food truck serves signature items at events and locations across the Hampton Roads area and is on the road up to six days a week.

Your Impact

  • Delivering operational excellence, working in all aspects of the restaurant to gain critical experience and knowledge of how to effectively and independently operate a crucial element of this multi-million dollar business
  • Increasing profitability through implementing procedures to reduce costs, increase productivity, & promote sales
  • Providing the highest quality of guest service through all contact points
  • Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food & team safety
  • Overseeing the maintenance and preventative maintenance schedule for Food Truck and equipment
  • Assisting the Executive Director in casting the vision, managing costs, establishing systems, and leading day-to-day operations.
  • Assisting the Executive Director in strategizing and executing Marketing, Social Media, and Sales
  • Create and track monthly and annual outside sales goals for catering, food truck, and CFA delivery.
  • Plan and organize events inside and outside of the restaurant.
  • Build relationships with local community leaders, business owners, and school officials with an effort to intentionally grow our brand in the greater Hampton Roads area.
  • Support restaurant operations during periods of non-peak outside sales time periods.
  • Lead special projects and captain-ships assigned by the Owner/Operator.

Background Profile

  • 2 years of Leadership experience (fast paced environment)
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Must be available to work up to 12 hour shifts - Scheduled shifts range from 8:00am - 11:00pm and in between, depending on the event
  • Able to lift heavy equipment and catering bags
  • Experience with attaching and pulling a 6x12 foot trailer (bonus)
  • Hospitality experience (preferred)
  • Passion for Chick-fil-A's values
