What You’ll Do
As the Field Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with the Marketing Team as well as cross-functional teams (medical, operations, etc.), to manage marketing programs that acquire, engage, and retain pet parents in the Denver area. You’ll manage a range of marketing initiatives and provide local, boots-on-the-ground marketing support for our MySimplePetExpress clinics.

Requirements
  • +3 years of marketing experience, with a preference for franchise, retail or vet clinic experience.
  • Strong track record of delivering on expectations, with attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative approach.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing and advertising best practices.
  • Understanding the pet and consumer brand landscapes (a plus).
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic Marketing Initiatives: Focus on clinic programs and tactics, collaborating with marketing, creative, tech, product, and finance teams to maximize initiatives across all business units.
  • Program Management: Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for Denver clinic teams, overseeing local content strategy, social media, email marketing, grassroots efforts, events, and paid advertising.
  • Creative and Content Development: Author detailed and strategic creative, content, and marketing briefs, ensuring projects remain on-brand and on schedule.
  • Project Oversight: Manage project timelines, organization of creative files, and oversee project-administration tasks, including tracking expenses and managing project tools (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
  • Performance Analysis and Feedback: Analyze clinic marketing performance, providing actionable insights to meet and surpass KPIs. Communicate feedback, results, and marketing performance to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Training and Support: Lead and launch new clinic marketing strategies, ensuring effective communication between all locations and cross-department teams. Manage and update the Local Marketing Playbook, leading marketing training and support for clinic teams.
  • Community & Events: Actively seek out and build relationships with PetSmart store employees, local community organizations, and businesses. Attend local events and deliver marketing materials & key information to build awareness and drive traffic to MySimplePetExpress.
