WHAT DOES THIS HYGIENIST COORDINATOR ROLE ENTAIL?

Schedule:

You'll work a full-time Monday through Friday schedule.

Day-to-Day:

As a Dental Office Hygiene Coordinator, you will oversee the dental office's hygiene schedule by conducting daily huddles, coordinating with hygienists and team members, reviewing checkouts and end-of-day procedures, assisting in audits and billing, and managing communications. You will also provide front desk coverage, coordinate with other offices, handle patient surveys and feedback, set collection goals, monitor accounts receivable, follow up on insurance claims, and address patient-related issues. Additionally, you will manage hygienist schedules, time-off requests, and payroll processing, ensure adherence to correct procedures and documentation, and prepare vital reports while conducting quarterly performance reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with insurance and billing
  • Experience in dental office management or a relative field
  • Computer-savvy with proficiency in dental software systems
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Having a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred
