This 12-month project role, based in White Plains and offering a competitive rate of $26/hr, provides an exceptional entry-level opportunity to immerse yourself in the renewable energy sector while gaining valuable skills and experiences.
Job Functions & ResponsibilitiesJoin the Strategic Supply Management team and play a vital role in supporting procurement activities for the Services Category, focusing on Major Projects. Responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing upcoming service requests, proposing renewal terms, and executing new Agreements/Purchase Orders.
  • Ensuring compliance with organization guidelines in all contract documents.
  • Processing Change Orders and preparing Purchase Orders efficiently.
  • Posting documents to the NY State Contract Reporter as necessary.
  • Attending project meetings, including onsite meetings, to contribute to project success.
  • Maintaining thorough recordkeeping to ensure accurate documentation.
Additional tasks may include:
  • Assisting in preparing RFPs, including bid documents, price inquiries, and addendums.
  • Identifying potential vendors, including MWBE, MBE, and SDVOB vendors, for solicitation.
  • Developing required contract documents based on RFP results.
Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook and familiarity with database/CRM/ERP systems.
  • Ability to prioritize work on multiple tasks with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to extract, comprehend, and analyze data.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a government/utilities, highly regulated environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, engineering, or equivalent work experience/training.
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred but not required.
