Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAmerican Kitchen Delights, Inc. is looking for an Executive Assistant / Administrative Support Specialist to keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. American Kitchen Delights is a fresh and frozen food manufacturer, specializing in products such as pizza, stuffed sandwiches, recipe meals, entrees, and more. We are 2nd generation family-owned and have been in business for over 35 years. This is a great opportunity to grow and advance in your career by working hands-on with the company's senior management and the President. Our facility is located at 15320 Cooper Avenue, Harvey, Illinois 60426. This position is for the day shift, Mondays through Fridays. It is a full-time position that starts at 9 AM and ends at 5:30 PM, which includes a break for lunch. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career and gain meaningful business experience working alongside senior management. This position pays a salary of $52,000 per year.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

This position entails working directly with the President and VP of the company. General responsibilities include but are not limited to: composing letters and electronic correspondence, Managing the email inbox of the President, Maintaining files and controlling records, Preparing presentations and reports as assigned, Managing phone calls and correspondence, Submitting timely reports, and preparing projects as assigned, Assisting colleagues whenever necessary, and Other general business tasks and projects as assigned.


Requirements:

This position requires at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, English, or a Related Subject. Work experience is not required, as long as you are willing to learn new software, systems, business concepts, and be coached on the job. We require outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, along with Excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required, in addition to strong time management skills, the ability to multitask, and willingness to collaborate and work well with our team. This is an in-person position and requires you to be on-site in the office on Mondays through Fridays.


Languages:

Proficiency in the English language is required. Bilingual is a plus, Spanish is preferred.
