POSITION –Press Brake Operator I

JOB LOCATION –Chippewa Falls, WI

STARTING DATE –Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM –Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE –Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) –Weekend Shift (5:45am-6:15pm, Fri-Sun)

STARTING PAY –$20/hr to $25/hour DOE

BENEFITS –Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays

EDUCATION–High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE –1 to 3 years related experience in a metal fabrication setting; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Press Brake Operator will set-up and operate metal bending machines (Press Brake) in accordance with quality/quantity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Detecting and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to management or the designer.
  • Performing quality inspections and checks according to quality documentation/control plans, including documenting results.
  • Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and adhering to prescribed safety procedures.
  • Identifying different types of materials, including Aluminum, 5000 series Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Paint Grip, Galvanneal, and Galvanized.
  • Upholding site efficiency standards.
  • Learning and demonstrating continuous improvement for site Safety and Quality standards and procedures.
  • Meeting the standards of the site attendance policy.
  • Assisting in other work areas as assigned.

Qualifications

  • The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructions.
  • Knowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
