Lazarus Naturals is seeking a Mixer Operator for our 1st shift in the Consumer Goods industry. As a Mixer Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Lazarus Naturals is a company that is dedicated to making quality hemp-based CBD accessible to everyone. From our cultivation sites in Central Oregon to our extraction, formulation, and packaging facilities, our team is committed to providing safe and effective CBD products at an affordable price. Responsibilities
- Operate mixing equipment to prepare raw materials for production.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines during the mixing process.
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately for each batch.
- Monitor mixing parameters such as temperature, speed, and time to ensure consistent quality.
- Conduct quality checks on the mixed products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Clean and maintain mixing equipment and work area in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Document and record batch information, including quantities of ingredients used and batch numbers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a mixer operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to read and follow recipes, work instructions, and batch records.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate measurements.
- Basic understanding of math and computer skills for recording batch information.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
