McGregor PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly), is a community service program that provides in-home healthcare services to the elderly as an alternative to nursing home placement, enabling seniors to remain "at home".

CLINIC Medical Assistant: FULL TIME, MONDAY-FRIDAY, 1ST SHIFT ONLY

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant who will work closely with our Primary Care Physicians and as a key member of our Interdisciplinary team, to deliver comprehensive health services for frail/elderly program participants at risk for nursing home placement. The position requires an energetic contributor who excels at working in a team setting.

Must be a self-starter. Team-oriented to perform assessments, acute triage and provide direct nursing services for frail elderly. Must be detail oriented with excellent assessment, verbal and written communication skills.

Our ideal candidate will support the day-to-day clinical operations and provide direct care to participants.

Qualifications:

· Medical Assistant licensed in the State of Ohio, required. Valid ODL; BLS certification preferred

· One year experience working with older adults in community health, LTC, or adult day care preferred.

· Prior experience with dementia care, desirable

· Previous experience in multidisciplinary care setting desirable

· Computer literate, organized, flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

· Physical ability to perform job core job responsibilities
