Summary/ Objective:

As a Recruiter at Kalo, you will play a crucial role in the talent acquisition process by supporting recruitment efforts, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and facilitating new hire orientation twice a week. You will be responsible for verifying I-9 documentation and assisting in the onboarding process to create a positive and organized experience for our new hires.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the HR and Operations team to manage the administrative aspects of the hiring process.
  • Schedule interviews, coordinate candidate communications, and maintain recruitment calendars.
  • Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and websites.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for further evaluation.
  • Communicate with candidates to schedule interviews and provide necessary information.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations by accurately verifying I-9 documentation for all new hires.
  • Keep updated on changes in I-9 and employment eligibility verification requirements to maintain compliance.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of new hire orientation programs.
  • Welcome new employees, help them complete their onboarding, and provide information on company policies and benefits.
  • Address new hires' questions and concerns and ensure a smooth transition into the company
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and new hire records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS.
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, document preparation, and data entry.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all HR and recruitment documents and information.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports related to recruitment and onboarding metrics.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of reports, charts, and graphs related to recruitment and onboarding data.

Qualifications for the job:

  • 1- 3 years of Recruiting or HR Admin experience
  • Familiarity with relevant employment Law
  • Recruiting and interviewing skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
