Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe're hiring a Shop Laborer for a well known metal fabrication company located in Washington Pa. The Shop Laborer will be responsible for general labor duties as well as other tasks around the plant.
Shop Laborer Responsibilities:
  • Cutting of raw aluminum to specific measurements.
  • Coolant maintenance for all machines ( refill to correct oil/coolant levels.)
  • Routine housekeeping such as emptying scrap bins, sweeping, trash removal, and cleaning of compressor filters.
  • Utilize forklift and electric pallet jack to move skids across the production floor.
  • Unboxing and palletizing of material for labeling.
  • Various secondary operations as assigned by shop supervisor.
Shop Laborer Requirements:
  • Must be able to use a tape measure.
  • Ability to read blueprints with basic math skills.
  • Forklift, overhead crane, and hand tools experience highly preferred.
  • Steel toed boots.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Attention to detail a must.
Shop Laborer Pay / Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday
  • 7:30a - 4p
  • $16 - $20 / per hour
  • OT available
