Job Overview: The Custom Events Lead & Key Account Manager will be the visionary and executor behind our custom events, with a primary focus on driving sponsor engagement and satisfaction. This role is responsible for understanding sponsor needs, translating them into event concepts, and delivering exceptional event experiences. The Custom Events Lead will work closely with sponsors from the initial brief to the final execution, ensuring their objectives are met and their partnership with our organization is strengthened. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Event Strategy & Production: 

Lead the strategic planning, creative development, and execution of custom events tailored to sponsor requirements. 

Manage the entire lifecycle of custom events, including concept development, planning, budgeting, execution, and post-event analysis. 

Acquire speakers as needed by sponsors 

Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure that event production aligns with both sponsor expectations and company capabilities. 

 

Project Management: 

Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure events are delivered on time and within budget. 

Implement project management tools and processes to track event progress and sponsor interactions. 

 

Sponsor Engagement & Management: 

Serve as the primary liaison between the company and sponsors specifically for custom events. 

Develop a deep understanding of each sponsor’s brand, objectives, and expectations. 

Secure briefs from sponsors and translate their vision into actionable event plans. 

Foster long-term relationships with sponsors through regular communication and excellent service delivery. 

 

Quality Control & Improvement: 

Implement best practices for custom events production and sponsor account management. 

Conduct post-event evaluations to gather sponsor feedback and identify areas for  

improvement.
