- Strategic thinking and business acumen: The CWO needs strong strategic skills to align workforce strategy to overall organizational goals and anticipate future trends. Business savvy is essential to understand operations and advise executives.
- Analytics and forecasting: Skills in data analysis and modeling to forcast talent needs and provide workforce analytics and insights. Ability to leverage HR metrics and systems.
- Communication and influence: Excellent verbal and written communications to convey ideas, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as human resources, business administration, organizational development, or a related area.
- 5+ years experience related to HR, workforce strategy, or organizational planning.
- Leadership experience such as overseeing HR teams, developing workforce strategies, managing organizational change initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with HR operations including policies, processes, and systems.
- Advisory experience to executives and managers on strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and people management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technology concepts
