The Studio Sound and Camera Engineer will work under the direct supervision of the Senior Vice President of Marketing. This position will be crucial in ensuring the highest quality in both audio and visual aspects of our productions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Audio Engineering:

  • Set up and operate sound equipment for studio recordings, live broadcasts, and other productions.
  • Ensure audio quality by managing sound levels and mixing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues during live and recorded sessions.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and talent to meet audio requirements for each production.
  • Maintain and repair audio/video equipment as necessary.

Camera Engineering:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain camera equipment for studio productions.
  • Frame and capture high-quality video footage according to the director's vision.
  • Manage lighting setups to ensure proper exposure and color balance.
  • Monitor and adjust camera settings (focus, aperture, white balance) during shoots.
  • Coordinate with other camera operators and crew to ensure seamless coverage of live events and recordings.

Technical Support and Maintenance:

  • Conduct regular checks and maintenance of all audio and visual equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in sound and camera technology.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the studio.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong technical background
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with live broadcast environments
  • Familiarity with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools)
  • Knowledge of networked audio and video systems.
  • AttendCompanysponsoredeventsthatrelatetothedevelopmentoftheteam,which,fromtimeto time, may include overnight stays at locations away from the employees home.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods during shoots.
