This positions primary responsibilities are sales growth and retention within the existing Personal Lines book of business by retaining existing clients through policy rewrites and sales growth through cross-selling existing customers. Plus new business growth/sales activities.
Base compensation is hourly, plus commission and bonus opportunities based on achievement of retention and growth goals.

Responsibilities
- Meet retention and business growth goals and objectives as established.
- Develop insurance quotes, make presentations over the phone or in person, and close sales.
- Cross-sell existing customers by utilizing phone, email and other communication methods; secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
- Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
- Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
- Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to commute each day to and from the office on Padre Island.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Be capable of handling customer rejection.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
