Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Responsibilities for Dispatch / Logistics Coordinator:
  • Dispatch all jobs to drivers quickly and accurately.
  • Properly manage and coordinate driver availability as work dictates.
  • Work closely with drivers (this includes assigning new jobs, obtaining charges and handling any driver problems)
  • Communicate with Control Towers, with status updates as required.
  • Work closely with Dispatch staff
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties/responsibilities at the request of the management team.
  • Responsible for shipping/receiving duties when applicable.
  • Document and escalate all problems/situations as per company policy and procedures.
  • Report vehicle accidents/driver incidents immediately to Supervisor/Manager/HR.
  • Schedule and manage vehicle repairs and equipment.
Position Qualifications for Dispatch / Logistics Coordinator:
  • Great customer service
  • Demonstrate Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great Time Management: The ability to organize and mange multiple priorities
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Be willing to learn international & domestic airline routings, geography and time zones
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Schedules:
  • Afternoon and Night shifts, plus one weekend shift
  • Flexible schedule is required for this opportunity We run a 24/7/365 Operation
