Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Grants Management Specialist to provide essential support to our Radiation Research Program. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, managing, and analyzing the organization's grant portfolio to support the successful delivery of research objectives.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Biology, or related field

Certifications & Licenses:

  • Academic Biomedical Research
  • Business Administration

Skills

  1. Grant receipt and funding tracking, drafting summary statements, price/cost analysis
  2. Knowledge of 508 compliance policy
  3. Grants policy and regulations
  4. Grant Administration

Software Proficiency:

  • Grant systems
  • SharePoint
  • MS Office
  • IMPAC II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grant Management: Assist with the development and coordination of the annual grant portfolio, provide administrative support for grant reviews, and help resolve issues relating to grant functions.
  • Compliance Review: Review grant applications to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Support staff in preparing reports, tracking awards, and handling financial reviews.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Maintain and update databases for grant activities, perform data queries, and create reports to track funding status, award progress, and grant application outcomes.
  • Communication & Support: Collaborate with program officers, grantee administrators, and staff to address issues, delays, and updates regarding grants. Provide routine support and guidance on pre- and post-award processes.
  • Documentation & Processing: Monitor and review documentation for grants ready for processing, resolve grant-related issues, and assist in preparing awards for final approval.
