Shifts Available:

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am


Essential Job Functions:
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet standard specifications and quality expectations.
  • Detect flaws among finished goods to ensure all products meet required quality standards.
  • Use observation and testing to identify faults in materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Assemble and construct finished good materials/containers.
  • Maintain records as needed.
  • Utilize ERP system to generate labels and other materials to establish an overall finished product.
  • Consult with supervisor/manager to determine appropriate recommendations and remedies for questionable products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the surrounding area to avoid creating an injury hazard for self or others.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings.
  • Participate and contribute to AMMO’s continual improvement process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor for additional experience and/or training.
  • Follow EHS procedures.
  • Record production, material, and quality information on designated AMMO operating systems in accordance with AMMO operating procedures, including an understanding of the purpose and necessity for accurate record keeping.
  • Clean scrap from inside and outside of machines upon order completion. Ensure the area is mopped clean and proactively attempt to discover and eliminate the source of any leaks when visible signs of debris, oil, coolant, or any slippery conditions or substances are present.
  • Operate and tend multiple presses or cells while manufacturing quality parts. Operation involves knowledge of press controls, nomenclature, non-conforming procedures and documents, logbooks, and the ability to operate press at optimal speed without compromising product quality or equipment maintenance. Check finished parts, empty parts containers into hoppers, and shut down operation whenever deficiencies in quality or press operation are noted.
Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Minimum Skills and Experience:

  • Thorough understanding of the product and/or process being inspected.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Ability to influence change and lead those who oppose change.
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and make calculations.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is carried out in a controlled, agreeable production environment.
  • Oil, coolant, chemicals, and noise present. Hearing and Eye protection is required.
  • Subject to lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Additional PPE required. Provided by AMMO.
Safety Requirements:
  • Must follow all safety rules and exhibit safe work practices.
  • Must complete and pass all required safety training and testing.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
