Position Overview: Primarily clerical duties/ record keeping and data entry- will be cross trained to back up other clerical/ auditor positions as needed and will report to the Safety Office Supervisor

Important Job Functions

  • Receive, organize, scan, and file Motor Carrier Driver Daily Logs (this will free up the Log Auditor to focus more on actual audits and HOS compliance issues)
  • Processes Driver/Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)- assist Log Auditor
  • Driver Application processing as needed
  • Scanning driver documents into Loadmaster electronic file

Other Job Functions

  • Order Office supplies (this is currently on Log Auditor’s job duty list)
  • Cross train and provide back up to the other clerical/ auditor positions on critical duties
  • Update Motor Carrier client’s MCS 150 every 5 months (truck & driver count)
  • Set up and maintain company driver I-9 files (keep for 3 years after termination)
  • Special projects for Safety Office Supervisor and VP Risk Management

Requirements:

  • Good written communication skills (email)
  • Good typing skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Flexible in regard to work days (Monday thru Friday)
  • Professional appearance
  • Good office work experience history
