Role Purpose Statement Join us in becoming a member of an innovative, quality centric and high-paced team today The Quality/Sanitation Clerk is responsible for maintaining sanitation and ensuring that all current Food Safety Standards are being met in the CSC. The Quality/Sanitation Clerk will develop sanitation trainings and support facility sanitation management to be able to identify and correct sanitation issues and to reinforce all current food safety standards. The Quality/Sanitation Clerk will be responsible for communicating key sanitation concerns and KPI’s with the Quality Manager and all Sanitation staff in the facility. Main Accountabilities • Oversee maintenance of Sanitation program (HACCP,SSOP, Allergen) for full compliance with customer and regulation requirements  • Organize and lead training in sanitation and food safety standards that are customary within the airline catering and mandated by government regulations FDA/USDA (including FSMA) and full compliance with the customer’s specifications and corporate standards (Alchemy)  • Collaborate with quality manager to respond to customer complaints related to sanitation and assists the facilities team to identify and resolve root cause of complaints  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of: Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Codex Alimentarius Standards, Corporate and Customer Standards  • Work with quality management in identifying sanitation or regulatory opportunities at the CSC  • Understand Master Sanitation Schedule and support implementation for the facility  • Manage chemical control programs including concentration test protocols for sanitation chemicals used, technical supports and other related activities  • Manage, communication and train OSHA safety requirements applying to all sanitation practices. Ensures that all chemicals have current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) information  • Oversee pest control and allergen control programs with sanitation related activities  • Manage sanitation verification and validation programs and associated systems  • Evaluate sanitation programs, current sanitation practices and ongoing strategic sanitation needs to ensure the sanitation related quality and food safety expectations are being met  • Other duties as assigned   Knowledge, Skills and Experience  High School Diploma or equivalent  · Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications · Ability to work with minimum supervision  · Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills  · Detail oriented · Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups – must be flexible · Open availability, ability to work nights and weekends as operations require LSG Sky Chefs is an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Women/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
