What You'll Do:

  • Serves as the first point of communication for staff regarding Human Resources Office policy and practices.
  • Works closely with all executives, hiring managers, and Human Resources consultant to facilitate healthy and efficient HR processes.
  • Compile timesheets in a way that ensures accurate and efficient payroll entry.
  • Participate in payroll entry process.
  • Has primary responsibility for the maintenance of Human Resources database (BambooHR).
  • Participates in employee training and benefit programs as directed.
  • Participates in recruitment and staffing processes, including the administrative functions of job postings and follow-up in HRIS, as directed.
  • Coordinates pre-employment screenings, which could include drug screening, background checks, etc.
  • Participates in conducting exit interviews of terminating employees, when necessary and as directed.
  • Assists in job description preparation.
  • Identifies opportunities, defines problems, and recommends viable solutions which include action plans and timetables.
  • Complete and submit weekly Certified Payroll Reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma; college degree preferred.
  • State of California Human Resources experience required.
  • Multistate payroll experience required, including Certified Payroll entry and reporting
  • Experience with Union wages and benefits helpful, but not required
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Office 365
  • Experience with BambooHR preferred, but not required.
  • Customer Service mindset
  • Professionalism
