Crawford Orthodontics is a fast-paced and busy dental office located in Lincoln, CA. We not only change your smile – we transform your life. We are seeking an experienced Sterilization Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will possess the technical and organizational skills to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff. The successful candidate will be highly organized, have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the team.

Schedule

  • This is a full-time position
  • Monday-Friday - No Saturdays
  • 8am-5pm

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilizing medical equipment and instruments
  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness and functionality before and after sterilization
  • Operate sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves, in accordance with manufacturer instructions
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance
  • Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and order replacements as needed
  • Assist with the organization and stocking of supply areas
  • Collaborate with orthodontic team to ensure timely and efficient sterilization of equipment
