Recovery Monitoring Solutions is a leading provider of treatment and electronic monitoring services, with corporate offices in Dallas, TX.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Specialist will actively engage three primary functions: 1) Recruiting/Screening and Coordination of onboarding new RMS Staff, 2) Training of new staff on all RMS systems related to electronic Monitoring (EM)/Drug Testing, and 3) Invoicing/Billing functions of Agency Paid programs. The Program Specialist works under direct or general supervision while exercising moderate independent decision-making authority. The Program Specialist will also be expected to provide coverage during times of staff shortages or planned and unplanned vacancies at program locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of subordinate staff in the department and is willing to be an EM/Drug Testing Technician to cover open shifts.
  2. Be primary contact for recruiting, screening, and onboarding new applicants for regional programs and serve as liaison with Human Resources on position postings.
  3. Train new staff on all RMS systems needed for their assigned location/position.
  4. Travel to EM as assigned to assist with program management as assigned by the Director.
  5. Complete all monthly invoicing/billing duties for Agency client programs as assigned by the EM.
  6. Provide the Director with all necessary information when guidance is requested.
  7. Monitors departmental performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
  8. Provide prompt and thorough customer service to participants, supervision officers and senior court/county officials.
  9. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and client or customer communications.
  10. Process incoming/outgoing calls with company personnel, referring agencies and clients troubleshooting result inquiries.
  11. Represent RMS for required court testimonies.
  12. Manages conflicts and resolves complaints about or within the department.
  13. Program Specialist will be assigned a primary duty of electronic monitoring but will need to accept assignments to the other duties as needed.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.
  15. Regional travel to RMS locations is required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. At least one (1) years of electronic monitoring experience required or equivalent experience in criminal justice programs and services.
  2. Clean Background
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office O365
    • Experience with Drug Testing Program Software Applications and NetSuite are preferred.
  4. Self-motivated and self-directed.
  5. Analytical and organizational skills.
  6. Strong verbal and communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  7. Bend, stoop, lift objects up to 15lbs, and maintain mobility necessary to perform minimum functions associated with position.
  8. Must be willing and able to accept travel assignments to RMS locations with 24 business hours’ notice; some of these may require overnight travel.
    • The travel requirement may be for 2-3 or more consecutive business days at a time.
    • A Valid Texas Driver’s License will be required given the travel obligations of the position.
