Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inventory maintenance and control
  • Schedule and perform periodic physical inventories
  • Maintain required gross profit percentage or higher on parts sales
  • Manage all department operations per company policies and procedures
  • Review sales performance on a weekly basis to assure sales goals are met
  • Provide accurate and timely information for parts orders and back orders as requested by customers, both internal and external
  • Coordinate all parts activities with internal departments, other branches when needed, and outside vendors
  • Assure customer satisfaction by providing reliable, friendly services and timely delivery of products
  • Manage all vendor parts sales to assure that we meet our annual objectives
  • Maintain positive, professional relationships with our vendors. Effectively negotiate with vendors to assure we are receiving the best prices and values for the products we purchase.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in a parts, operation, technical or mechanical environment.
  • Prior experience in the Material Handling Industry not required but helpful.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to contact customers in a professional manor, both by phone and personally when needed.
  • Proven ability to motivate personnel to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, OEM systems, and running reports in company's business system.
  • Working knowledge of LEAN business principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
