As a Licensed Sprinkler Fitter, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in both commercial and residential settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of fire sprinkler systems.
  • Installation and Testing: Installing and testing various types of fire sprinkler systems, such as wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Inspections and Repairs: Conducting inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs on sprinkler systems to ensure they meet safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to efficiently complete projects and ensure the smooth operation of sprinkler systems.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues encountered during installation, maintenance, or repairs.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Sprinkler Fitter license.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with clients in their homes and businesses.
  • Thoroughness in inspections and accuracy in quoting replacements or repairs.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Sprinkler Fitter.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
