Front Desk Manager

What you will be doing

In this role you will manage the day to day operations and of the front office and breakfast staff. You are responsible for: scheduling, planning, developing and communicating departmental strategies and goals. Responsible for scheduling and regularly conducting routine inspections of the front office, breakfast, and public areas to ensure these area reflect a welcoming environment for our guests. Serve as the manager on duty as required by my hotel leadership. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly required to talk , hear and interact with guests. Frequently is required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.

*Marriott and Lightspeed experience preferred

Education & Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2 to 3 Hotel Experience Preferred

Management Experience Required
