The Data Analyst works closely with CIO and COO to replicate business logic for the Kane’s Furniture systems to prepare reporting for the organization at large and the CEO. Collection, preparation, cleansing, automation functions will be required to synthesize executive summaries and actionable next steps based on historical sales, traffic, HR, and media data.Responsibilities
  • Responsible for extracting and manipulating data sets while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business initiatives success.
  • Conduct statistical analysis on sales data with the Kane’s business logic for understanding performance down to a product category, store location and salesperson
  • Manage data reports on initial transaction performance (written sales) as well as final delivered sales across transaction and customer identities.
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with teams across the organization and provide client-facing/non-technical recommendations and insights, as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain internal automated reporting tools, documents, scoring systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 2-3 years experience in data and analytics field
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required
  • Experience with Oracle systems is highly preferred
  • Experience with Postgres is highly preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work during US EST hours on a full time basis
  • Hybrid role - must be able to work in the Pinellas Park Store Support Center office weekly as required
