An electric utility client is looking for a Data Analyst to support Customer Generation Programs (CGP) using data visualization skills, solution building, development, and oversight of CGP dashboards.


Location: Irwindale, CA 91706 (Hybrid)

Position: Data Analyst

Pay Rate: $35/hr. on W2

Duration: 18 months or longer

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

***HYBRID, 1 day a week onsite every Thursday***


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The position will be responsible for supporting Customer Generation Programs (CGP) using data visualization skills, solution building, development, and oversight of CGP dashboards.
  • In this position, you will be consulting with clients and leadership to drive strategic data-informed decisions by creating intuitive dashboards, and on-demand data views, and translating the data into actionable intelligence.
  • Other duties responsible but are not limited to devising accurate steps to enhance the effectiveness of Renewal Energy Programs and Incentives and make recommendations based on critical performance data analysis.
  • Beyond data-related tasks, this role is vital to the success of regulatory compliance programs, providing key thought to Interconnection and Incentives program members to provide data-driven recommendations.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an analytical position utilizing database programs and spreadsheet software
  • Experience running data analysis, gathering data, and providing queries generated from SAS and Oracle.
  • Analytical experience deriving critical insights from large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization applications and tools such as SAS Visual Analytics, PowerBI, or Tableau.
  • Soft skills: Candidate must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.


DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in data warehousing and extraction tools, technical data concepts, design, data engineering, and statistical forecasts.
  • Database development experience using SQL Server, R, SAP, and/or SAS Enterprise Guide.
